On December 14th of the current 2023 year, Ministry of Defense of the Sultanate of Oman National Defense institution delegation of teachers and listeners (28 persons) have visited to al-Biruni institute of oriental studies, Uzbekistan Academy of sciences. Guests were welcomed by Scientific secretary of the Institute Nemat Jabborov, specialist of the department of International relations Umid Rakhmanov and Dcs student of the Institute Ibrakhim Usmanov. The guests were informed and introduced about the scientific activities of the institute, the research departments of the Institute and the publications of the Institute staff.
After that, guests went to the meeting room and watched video footage of the opening ceremony of the Institute building and the construction process. Then the guests were shown restoration and scanning departments and the library of the Institute and provided information on the activities of the Institute. The guests were greatly thanked for the warm reception and noted that the activities, the new building and scientific publications of the Institute left them a huge impression. At the end of visit they thanked the leadership and staff of the Institute for the warm welcome and wrote down their words of gratitude in the Book of Honored Guests.
