On 3 of May,  2024 year a delegation led by the Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment Support of the Sultanate of Oman, Qais bin Mohammad al-Yusuf  have visited to al-Biruni institute of oriental studies, Uzbekistan Academy of sciences. Guests were welcomed by director of the Institute Prof. B. Abduhalimov.

The guests were informed and introduced about the scientific activities of the institute, the research departments of the Institute and the publications of the Institute staff. After that, guests went to the Conference Hall and watched video footage of the opening ceremony of the Institute building and the construction process. At the end of the visit, the parties exchanged souvenirs. The guests were greatly thanked for the warm reception and noted that the activities, the new building and scientific publications of the Institute left them a huge impression.

On April, 22 of 2024 year, Omanian tourist and blogger  Nasser Al-Numani   have visited to Al-Biruni Institute of oriental studies, Uzbekistan academy of sciences. The guest was welcomed by Scientific secretary N.Jabborov and  Specialist of the Department of International Relations U.Rakhmanov.

The guest was informed and introduced about the scientific activities of the institute, the research departments of the Institute and the publications of the Institute by the Scientific secretary N.Jabborov. After that, the Guest was shown a new building of the Institute and given information on the construction of a new building. The guest greatly thanked for the warm reception and noted that  the  activities and scientific publications of the Institute left to him a huge impression.

Such friendly visits at the international level, on the one hand, serve to further strengthen friendly relations between Uzbekistan and the Sultanate of Oman, and on the other hand, to develop cooperation and tourism between both sides.

On 18^th of April, 2024 tourists who came to trip  our country from Sultanate Oman   have visited to al-Biruni institute of oriental studies, Uzbekistan Academy of sciences. Guests were welcomed by Scientific secretary of the Institute Nemat Jabborov, the specialist of the department of International relations Umid Rakhmanov and  DSc student  of the Institute Ibrakhim Usmanov.

The guests were informed and introduced about the scientific activities of the institute, the research departments of the Institute and the publications of the Institute staff. After that, guests went to the meeting room and watched video footage of the opening ceremony of the Institute building and the construction process. Then the guests were shown restoration and scanning departments and the library of the Institute and provided information on the activities of the Institute. The guests were greatly thanked for the warm reception and noted that the activities, the new building  and scientific publications of the Institute left them a huge impression. This visit serves to strengthen friendly relations between Uzbekistan and the Sultanate of Oman.

On December 14^th of the current 2023 year, Ministry of Defense of the Sultanate of Oman National Defense institution  delegation of teachers and listeners (28 persons)   have visited to al-Biruni institute of oriental studies, Uzbekistan Academy of sciences. Guests were welcomed by Scientific secretary of the Institute Nemat Jabborov, specialist of the department of International relations Umid Rakhmanov and  Dcs student  of the Institute Ibrakhim Usmanov. The guests were informed and introduced about the scientific activities of the institute, the research departments of the Institute and the publications of the Institute staff.

After that, guests went to the meeting room and watched video footage of the opening ceremony of the Institute building and the construction process. Then the guests were shown restoration and scanning departments and the library of the Institute and provided information on the activities of the Institute. The guests were greatly thanked for the warm reception and noted that the activities, the new building and scientific publications of the Institute left them a huge impression.
